Non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing. Possibly
phototoxic, although it has not been demonstrated decisively. |

Generally regarded an non-irritant and non-sensitising.
However, it can cause allergic reactions in those who have a sensitivity
to citrus fruits. The oil is mildly phototoxic, so do not apply to the skin
shortly before exposure to natural or simulated sunlight. It has a short
shellfire and is therefore best used within six months of purchase. |
